Belmonte came to an end yesterday, day 5, and did so with a bang. The last episode of the novel TVI, adapted from an original Chilean, became the second most talked about topic on social network Twitter world, already in the final stretch of the chapter, close to midnight. The #belmonte hashtag was only exceeded by the hashtag #LukeHemmingsYourBodyIsPerfect, reference to physical Luke Hemmings, singer of the band 5 Seconds of Summer.
Among the tweets that cited the Portuguese novel, many of them refer to the outcome of the characters that left many viewers confused. Among some outpourings of misunderstanding, are also some criticism TVI and comparisons with international productions like Lost series or movie of Martin Scorsese Shutter Island.
Also on the Facebook page of the novel were several hundred who took the opportunity to comment on the outcome of the brothers Belmonte, a large majority to leave criticism to the way the story was conducted.
