SPEECH OF HON Mazengo P. Pinda (MP), PRIME MINISTER OF THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA, at the conclusion of 13 CONFERENCE ACTIVITIES OF THE PARLIAMENT OF THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA sugar preservative ON 09 NOVEMBER, 2013

Take this opportunity to congratulate all Members of Parliament to participate in the Planning Committee to the National Assembly to discuss in detail the proposals submitted by the Government on the National Development Plan for 2014/2015. Let me assure you that, opinions and advice as set forth by the State Members of Parliament will be considered by every one for his weight during the preparation of the budget for 2014/2015. Also would like to thank to discuss and approve the Bill Savings Fund of the Veterans Benefits GEPF.
4. With the completion of the necessary work, also in this meeting, a total of 120 questions based on the additional 305 Members of Parliament were answered by the Government. In addition, based on questions 6 and 6 additions sugar preservative were answered in the order of questions on the spot by the Prime Minister.
6. At this meeting also, Honourable Members had the opportunity to hear Hon. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, President of the United Republic of Tanzania, speaking to people through esteemed. In the first quarter of year 2013/2014 from July to September sugar preservative 2013, all revenue collected by the Treasury amounted to 3.08 trillion, equivalent to 85.7 percent of the estimated 3.59 trillion. Along with the trend of revenue collection, the greatest challenge facing the area of government revenue sugar preservative is too late to start on time for the collection of revenue in some revenue. Another challenge is the demand for transportation sugar preservative infrastructure sustainable isiyokidhi especially central railway, ports, air transport and road. Good infrastructure is important in stimulating economic growth and employment creation, and thus enable the government to collect more revenue from increased economic activity. The government is working on making these challenges to providing solutions in advance.
