Consumers worldwide are increasingly adopting behaviors conditioned by environmental protection, recycling and choosing to buy environmentally friendly products for their homes.
The survey "Environmental Survey 2011" sponsored by Tetra Pak reveals an increasing demand for "green" products smithfield marketplace and the subsequent selection and separation of food packaging for recycling. This study, which involved 6600 consumers smithfield marketplace and 200 influencers of food industry respondents in 10 countries, also highlights that recyclable packaging are a determining factor smithfield marketplace in the preference of consumers when buying food and drinks. About 88% of consumers expressed a strong preference for products in recyclable packaging; 77% said that the decision to buy certain products over others is because they are packed in a more sustainable smithfield marketplace way for the environment.
As the environmental impact a growing influence on consumers and the products they prefer, the study also highlights the value added by food producers, distributors and the packaging industry to develop new solutions for more sustainable packaging, environmentally cash value. About 83% of food producers and distributors of respondents said they take into account the environmental impact at the moment of choosing packaging solutions for your products.
